Through The Vine is a bit of an unusual name for an auction company, but we actually have three reasons for choosing it as our nom de plume. For starters, our last name is Heard. I can’t begin to count the number of times my sibling and I have heard some form of a joke referring to the song/phrase, “heard it through the grape vine”. Secondly, we chose the name Through The Vine because it is greatly due to the word of mouth of our family, friends and current bidders that this business has been as successful as it has. We truly appreciate each of you for helping to spread the word about us “through the grape vine”. Lastly but most definitely not least, we chose the name Through The Vine because it is only by the grace of the True Vine, Jesus Christ, that any of this is possible. Dad and I strive to keep God first and to “work in all things as if working for the Lord.” (Colossians 3:23)
